Remember my cousins Alvin+Janice=Jake and their wedding at Boracay some 2-3 years ago? The After Party was AWESOME and caught on camera!!! Well… Janice has a sister! She just got married a month ago and I shot the “unofficial” photos alongside the big names in Wedding Photo&Videographers (Mr. Nelwin Uy & Jason Magbanua).

It seems only fitting that for their wedding on December 7, 2009, Ryan and Cla chose the theme “life is sweet!” They met at Cla’s house over three desserts she prepared. And from that day, love blossomed.

Theirs is a love story that could rival most romantic movie plots without the melodrama. The eight-year relationship never had its share of heartbreaking twists. They took their time to get to know each other and pursue their own dreams. The only real hurdle these two had to endure happened when Cla became a flight attendant and was based in Dubai. But not even the distance posed a real challenge. Ryan proved to be patient, supportive and very understanding. Everyone knew somehow they would end up together as they watched their relationship grew stronger.

And when they finally got married, it was gracious, intimate and laidback, very much like Ryan and Cla who showed us that love is the sweetest promise. The ceremony reflected the importance of family in both their lives, and filled with personal touches that the couple thoughtfully planned.

Congratulations Ryan and Cla! Here’s to happily ever after!
